HE01-2 - Walls

A dwelling loses more energy through its walls than any other part of its structure. To avoid this the Eco Homes employ walls with an outer layer of ceramic bricks with a double air compartment with an outer coating of water proofing (anti-damp) material as well as thermal insulation made up of expanded polystyerene, supported by an air compartment.


With these elements we are able to avoid that 60% of the energy is lost through the walls in comparison to a standard property.
