HE09 - Floor structure

The floors are also another important escape route for heat. To minimize this loss, the structure of the floors of the Vivienda Verde are designed to reduce this loss by around 30% in comparison to a standard property according to the climatic zone the property is built in.


The composition of the floor structure is made up of a concrete base with concrete girders, thermal insullation with expanded polystyrene (EPS) with a light weight concrete layer on top. On top of this, the holding mortar is applied on which ceramic tiles are placed.
