US15 - Sustainably produced timber

The wood used for the interior carpentry, fitted furniture and all other uses for wood must use timber that is sustainably produced according to the criteria of the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) or PEFC (Pan European Forest Certification ).

The certification of the timber allows for trustworthy proof of origin and management. With these certifications we can avoid that a protected species is not used, that the timber does not come from a conflict zone or from indiscriminate lumbering or destructive actions.

The supplying company of wood is TABLEROS LOSÁN S.A.., that has been carrying out sustainable practices and recycling methods for some time so as to be able to obtain maximum efficiency and productivity but at the same time reduce waste and carbon emissions resulting from production. As a result of these policies they have obtained the UNE-EN ISO 14001 certificate in production and production of the environment.

During the production process all saw dust, chipping and unwanted pieces are used to produce new materials, whilst bark and waste is used to produce thermal electric energy.
